This is the Christmas tree decoration that Louise bought for Lucy's daughter. It is commonly known as Big Ben, but more correctly that is the name of the bell it contains, with the tower being known as the Elizabeth Tower.
Lucy's daughter was thrilled by this decoration, and when she opened it on Christmas Day it had to be put onto our tree straight away.
This ornament and the London bus ornament shown yesterday are very appropriate, since Lucy and her family live in London.

It has been an unexpected Christmas, having Lucy and her family with us, and seeing the children open their presents. This wasn't the plan, they were due to visit after Christmas but visited earlier in case the government introduced Covid-19 restrictions that might have prevented their visit.
