York - Colour and Light

Another shot from the Colour and Light Display on the outside of the south transept of York Minster.

Parts of the display contain elements of the history and traditions of the Minster and the city, and here we have a display of candles.

The display has proved remarkably popular - even the bus driver on my way into towm commented how many people there had been since the display began.

I would imagine that many of the pubs near the display, in Stonegate and Goodramgate, would have done good business after people had watched the display!
