Bradleys Jewellers has on a number of occasions had parts of its exterior decorated with flowers, and the Coronation was an ideal opportunity for them to produce this red, white and blue display, with the crest of King Charles III on the white area of wall.
Bradleys is located in a timber framed building that is around 500 years old, on Low Petergate, a route created some 2000 years ago as part of a Roman Fortress. The building was a former apothecary, which has today been beautifully restored by the Bradley family.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
It has been quite fascinating to see how the Coronation was celebrated in different parts of the city. In some areas there were no displays and it would have been hard to tell a Coronation was to take place. In other areas houses and shops have produced many and varied displays and it has been lovely to see them. The one thing we haven't done yet is to have a trip to Thirsk to see the display produced by the yarnbombers there.

Thank you Vesna - there are some nicely decorated shops in the city centre at the moment.
