kids in motion can make for some great blurism work... did you experiment with different levels of blur?

No experimentation - yet. I kept the speed fast because I didn't know how the parents would react to my turning their kids into visual smears, or even how they'd react to my enjoying watching and photographing their sliding kids. They liked it and didn't want to see the photos so I'll be back.
