Her dad was standing just out of frame. He grabbed her after she decided to run a lap but before she finished it. Taken in Hua Hin, Thailand, where I still live.
New camera in 2010 was a Canon S-95. I wanted to play with a semi-serious camera to see if photography still appealed like it did in my 20s and 30s before jumping into an interchangeable lens system.
It's the 20th so I'm posting an image from 2010, joining Andy (@amfrumbiddivurd) and others in posting old photos until Christmas. On the 21st we'll post from 2011, etc. Click on the 2000-14 tag to see them all.
