It appeared to have been there some time. The mechanical parts looked seized and the chrome parts were rusting.
This shot was taken 30 minutes after sunset, it was quite dark and bitterly cold.
Hand held, Manual mode
cont 1.0EV bracket 5 images.
1/20s at f/4.
10000 ISO.
What a gorgeous image... lovely detail and color. How in the world did you get such a sharp image handheld for 2 minutes... especially in the bitter cold??? I’m super impressed with the quality @ such a high ISO... what do you use for noise reduction?
Beautiful image, amazing processing. Can't imagine hand-holding for that long in the dark and cold tho (or any other time, really, that is a long time!)
@kvphoto Hi, the exposure time was 0.05 sec (1/20) or 50 milliseconds. I'll correct my type error. I didn't use any noise reduction, and I have the noise reduction in camera turned off.

@gamelee I appreciate your explanation... I can understand handholding for 1/20 of a second and I’ve even been successful with slightly longer exposures with the stabilization in the A7iii. Thanks so much for the link... I’ll check my settings for in camera NR.
This is a great shot Lee, a real change from Christmas cheer! How strange to leave an expensive machine up there...it will be deteriorating fast. Big fave.
