Today's suggested activity for 30 Days Wild was to visit a wildlife reserve but, for a number of reasons, that was not going to be happening for me today. Instead I did some work in my own garden.
While processing this picture I couldn't help thinking of some lines from a poem by Jorge Luis Borges:
"So you plant your own garden and decorate your own soul
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers."
This is a lovely idea. The prompts are there to be used if you wish or entirely ignored :) just getting out each and enjoying a bit of nature is the aim and some time in the garden definitely achieves that.
