Grandchildren are the dots
that connect the lines
from generation to generation.

Our three precious grand boys...age 7, 5 and 2. I don't usually post a photo of them but it is Grandparents Day! Dillon, in the middle, likes to read bedtime stories to his younger brothers. He just started the second grade and can read at a 6th grade level. I hope I can take partial credit for that, being the book giving grandparent and also reading stories to them. I enjoy reading, music and art. I worked in a children's book store when my son was young and he had quite the library of books that I have been able to pass on to his boys.
We spent most of this day, first watching Dillon play some winter baseball, reading and doing puzzles with the youngest and Halloween crafts with the middle boy. Time to take a nap...us, not the boys. :)
They are beautiful boys! Did you add the Superman images across the top of the photo? They are fabulous! My son reads constantly and told me last weekend that he credits me with his love of reading. A good habit to have for sure. Dillon is smart, to be reading at a 6th grade level at his age!
What an adorable photo of your boys! We had ours with us today, too, though I think Grandparent's Day went unnoticed. No complaints, I got some good family photos before they left for home, and we had a nice weekend! We're still here until the 19th & everything greatly improved! I've gotten busy with several projects before leaving, so 365 had taken a back seat for awhile. This coming week is mega busy with PT and last appts...trying to fit in sleep as I was tired last week. No relapses, thank you! ...Is your roof completed? If so, what a joy! Hoping you'll enjoy the rest of your summer days relaxing before it turns cool again! Thanks for stopping by!
Well done!
