I bought this kit and grew it for Katniss. She is always nibbling on the grass and/or weeds in the yard. So, I thought she would enjoy this healthier choice of fresh oats, wheat, rye and barley. Well, not much interest beyond her usual sniff test of everything she walks by. Maybe I should get out the blender and make a smoothie or have Katniss watch the video below. :)

What a beautiful poem and scene. Minky eats grass in the garden and like Joy's cat, just throws it up again. I believe that is how the get rid of all that hair they have been licking ;-)
Isn't that always the case? I need some of that grass too as Tater has eaten just about every house plant I have....or used to have. Wonderful capture nevertheless.
I guess weeds are more tasty that oats, wheat, rye and barley. I guess maybe she would prefer catnip. I have never seen healthy grasses for the kitties.
