Today I am remembering my mom on her birthday. She carried gardenias on her wedding day so I took a photo of one in our garden. She lived a happy long life but I will always miss her.

@helenhall I added a link for you on gardenias, Helen. They are a beautiful white small flower with a heavenly scent. I walked out our front door last night and I could smell their fragrance 25 ft away. You can pick the blossom and float in a dish of water...one is all you need to fill the room with its fragrance. We have three hedges of gardenias at our home. Between our roses, magnolias, gardenias and star jasmine, it smells sweetly outside, depending on the month. :)
