This is from the magnolia tree across the street. I love its huge blossoms, even though many of the buds did not open. Due to the drought and its water being turned off by mistake, the tree has struggled this year.

Thank you for your comments and taking the time to stop by. I was very pleased with this capture of the big billowy petals and soft focus on the stamen. It was a different perspective. I love these huge magnolia blooms.
