There's no better place
to find yourself
than sitting by a waterfall
and listening to its music.

The "Seven Sisters" are among the most photographed waterfalls in Geirangerfjorden. No less than seven waterfalls descend into the fjord. They have an average fall of around 820 feet and are an impressive sight when the water levels are high. The falls are naturally more visible during the snow melting period in May-July.
The legend has it that the "Seven Sisters" were all unmarried and the waterfall across on the other side of the fjord has been called "The Suitor" after several unsuccessful attempts to court the sisters. All seven sisters turned down his proposal for marriage.
