The prefer to be called Native Americans now but when I was growing up we called them Indians! I lived near a reservation and had lots of friends that were Native Americans
This gentleman was participating in a Frontier Days celebration at an old historical fort near where I live now.
I really appreciate that, Jason, Especially since I was behind about four rows of people and I was doing the paparazzi thing by holding the camera over my head and aiming at the action while looking at the tipped screen instead of using the view finder as I almost always do.
Love this profile portrait... and after reading how you got it I am even more impressed! I was (and still am!) very into the feathers, too... but I did notice the earrings :)
