Is This a Crab or a Bug?

I found another picture I forgot to upload and of course it is another bug. That seems to be my fallback shot. I have noticed more variety of bugs in the four months since I started this project than I ever noticed in the twenty years before that!

I thought "stinkbug" at first, but he's not quite a shield shape....He looks like a mole someone has had removed from their body. Eww..haha! but good job getting a pic of him! What is he on? I have learned a lot of bugs too! and birds.

@espyetta He is on a towel and I really haven't "learned" any bugs. I just notice them. He looks a little like a scab to me. Thanks for looking.
