Everywhere I look ......people on a phone!

In my town of 40,000 people there are no street scenes because everyone is in car and that is just not interesting to shoot. This is the closest I can get to a street scene!
Great capture, Katy, as this is the way it has become. No one seems to talk to anyone anymore. All online or on phones communicating. This is great for the challenge.

@darsphotos You are so kind,Darlene! I think it is a stretch for a street scene but will have to do. It is nice of you to support me and I really appreciate it!

@grammyn trust me, I know...and I'm as guilty as the next person...I almost always have my phone (or a camera or two) with me

But she has a techo-junkie sister who makes up for it! :) Great shot and I believe Harry shot a giant indoor flea market for his street scene... :)

Great capture! I saw two girls sitting on a bench texting each other once! Lol! The art of conversation might be a lost art form in the future!

@marilyn Thanks for the support. I would like to get some great street scenes but I don't see it happening here!

@orangecrush I think you are right. I am sad to say I have seen that in my own family.

@peterdegraaff It is becoming far too common!

@grammyn Techno-junkie that I am, I don't text people in the same room! That's just silly... though I see kids do it all the time. And even when Marvin, Jeff, Marisa and I were all on our iPads and/or iPhones we were not communicating with each other through them... we actually spoke to one another! I hope I never get that dependent/chained to my phone or other device.

@marilyn I think it is used to talk about people in the same room at the same time!

@grammyn LOL! Most likely!
