One of the beautiful flowers I planted in my blue garden last year and had forgotten about and I also have forgotten its name!
It's so pretty! Nice detail.

Platycodon grandiflorus referred to as the Japanese bellflower, common balloon flower, or balloon flower. Nice- we have these also- fun flower.

I believe Jann hit the nail on the head... but all I found was balloon flower, not the fancy names! :) It is beautiful and I love the sun coming from behind and making the flower almost translucent!

@marilyn I have been running a little behind lately and didn't have the time to look it up as I would normally have done so I appreciate the effort. I especially appreciate the comment about the sun because that is what caused me to take the shot in the first place! Spot on, girl! THANKS!

Beautiful! The purple is gorgeous and I love the small white unopened flower in the background. :-)
