Second Course

I caught this mockingbird with a grub in his mouth earlier http://365project.org/grammyn/everything-else/2012-05-11 and now with this grasshopper. He was patiently waiting for me to go inside so he could take the food to his babies. I out waited him and discovered where the nest is. I am hoping to catch some of the babies somehow.
Great capture..the youngones get a nice meal.

What a great Mom... and this is a great shot! Wonderfully crisp details... :)

Fantastic. Seeing the feet grabbing the wire is great because of the detail!

@karenann I was thinking this would be a good lesson for people who want children. The sacrifices the parents make ,putting their own wants and needs to one side for the sake of the babies until they can make it on their own. So many people today don't get that. Being a good parent is sacrificial.

@karenann Thanks. hey, what happened to the picture you posted BEFORE Barefoot in the Park?
May 12th, 2012
I wanted to re-edit it, Katy. And totally lost it (my fault on the computer!) So I just went and put this one up. I just figured "no big deal!" I did love the moment with the cardinal taking a bath, but hey I might get lucky again. Thanks for asking, Katy.

@karenann Don't you remember in school when they said "Don't change your answer on a test because it is almost always the right answer the first time"?! Not that the barefoot picture isn't a great shot, just leave what you have and don't re-edit! ;~} Either that or save it to the computer before you do so you can get to it again. Ace members can edit on site and NOT lose the picture! I forget that not everyone can do that. I think this is sounding much harsher than I mean it to be too so, please, don't be upset! I LOVE all your work! ;~}
