These are the roses from the bud I posted the other day. http://365project.org/grammyn/365/2013-01-02 You can actually see the bud in this shot at the top! They are a trailing rose which is why they look upside down.
@karenann Thanks you, my dear! They most definitely are not wild roses. I never shop at real nurseries for flowers but try to get them on sale at places like Walmart and Lowe's. these roses are the exception! i can't remember why we were at the nursery but my husband liked these so we bought them. WAY more than I would have spent! ;~}
@chrysalis Thanks so much for the comment and view, Patrice! @jwlynn64 You are welcome, John! They had already bloomed, John! I just posted the shot of the bud only instead of the whole flowers.
@digitalrn Actually I think they are very late! It seems to me as if this is the end of the season for them instead of the start of a new one! Who knows? We don't usually get roses in the middle of winter either so not especially used to it!
