Early Labor by grammyn

Early Labor

Leaving the house this morning for my walk I almost left the camera but with the recent scolding I got from @Pasadenarose echoing in my head I took it along and had to silently thank her for the admonition when I saw this gentleman working on someone's roof.
Great candid. I rarely leave the house without a camera of some sort....never know what you might see!!

@onie Thanks,. As I explained to her it is the same walk every day and nothing much changes but every now and then .................

@lesip You are so nice to say that, Leslie. It means a lot to me.

So glad you took the camera and capture this great shot. I am like the the American Express card commercial: "I never leave home without it"...

@anazad511 LOL! I almost never do but my morning walk is exercise and sometimes it just seems wrong to take the camera. thaks for your kind words.

That is one job I would never do, and to me he doesn't look to be too sure footed.

Great capture, Katy - and agreed with Rick - he doesn't look too sure footed - he is holding the tool at a really awkward angle.

Another great 'people' shot from you! I many, many times admonish myself for being camera-less...there are some 'Lichfield's' out there that I have missed...lol! :D

Looks precarious...

@eudora LOL! It was!

At least I served a purpose. LOL

You never know what you will see. Even if you are always in the same area people, wildlife and other details change.
And I'm glad it was a shot of him up on the roof, and NOT of him laying in a heap on the ground! He does look unsteady up there.
