My mother's skilled hands, never idle for long, making a hat for a charity she supports which I have forgotten the name of. At 87 she makes quilts and lap robes for children in hospitals and people in nursing homes trying to use up her fabric and knits hats and scarves trying to use yarn that people keep giving to her.
