How interesting! @anazad511 just posted a similar photo. You are both lucky to have records like these. I've tried to trace my paternal grandfather's parents and have found very little before they immigrated from Germany.

Our family history is always so interesting. We have a TV program in UK called "Who do you think You are" where they trace families back for centuries. I would love to be able to do that, my ancestors come from all over, Germany, Holland, Scotland, France, Ireland, could take a while. Great photo Katy!
