Changeling by grammyn

Changeling

This is our nectarine tree and this is what those blossoms looked like just a week ago! http://365project.org/grammyn/365/2014-03-18 I was so surprised to see how different they looked through the viewfinder today.
So pretty and a great shot!

The blossoms are unusual being made up of a lot of stamens! All the better to pollinate with though! Very pretty!

WOW!! That is a lot of change! Do you have a carpet of pink petals in your yard? I just read a book to A about that...Fletcher and the Springtime Blossoms.

Amazing change in those blossoms! And an amazing photo... that light is gorgeous and the two very different colors in the background are so very cool! :)

@luvmynynix We don't and I didn't realize until after I uploaded that they look so different because the petals are gone but the stamens are still there They look so much bigger without the petals.

@marilyn Thanks, sissy. I didn't realize that the branch follows those lines of color and divides the background until I uploaded it. HA!
