(Did anyone else's mother laughingly refer to these as snakes???? yes, we knew she was kidding...I'm not sure whether that was to make eating vegetable more fun or not...lol.)...
My mother wouldn't have dreamed of cooking anything as exotic and expensive as asparagus! I'm not sure that I would be tempted by the snakes analogy although the tips do look rather menacing now you come to mention it.
Nicely composed. Love asparagus but was Helen mentioned, we also never had it as kids so it wasn't until later in life we found this very nice vegetable.
