It's a real store, not a quaint reproduction. They still sell fountain drinks and warm work clothes. Still in the family that opened it. Terni's is in Millerton, New York, about 100 miles north of New York City, just at the edge of the Berkshire HIlls. I used to live here and described it then and can still describe it now as a town of about 900 people and 2000 cows. But with a great movie theater and book store! (It's also big with summer people from the New York City.) We moved from here about 20-years ago, but it looks the same!
