This is a third set up I tried and finally got splash and focus. I know so many people do these shots and they're definitely cliche and yet I find it fascinating to see the shapes and really just wanted to nail it and check it off the photo "to-do" list. Some day up I'll have to try water crowns and the shot by JackieR @30pics4jackiesdiamond definitely sets the bar pretty high.
What a perfect droplet. You asked what I used for mine, a shallow glass coaster for bottles and drops from quite a height coming continuously from a pierced plastic bag.
There are a lot of shots that become a cliche on 365 but that should never mean you shouldn't try them. And this is a good time feeling shot right now.
A good exercise to try and get right. I haven't tried much but certainly didn't succeed when I did. Yes excellent focus with this and I like the big round drop at the top.
Cliché? ? Nah- classic!!!
