Watercolor lesson

Learning to do watercolours.
Nice one - if I may offer a little constructive critisism (if not then just delete this comment)?

As I wrote in the photo of the flowers when putting something together for painting stilleben it works best if you bring the colours together - bringing the apple closer to the flowers in some way. In this case either putting the apple upon something or laying the flowers on the table.
Painting something transparent are the most difficult thing to do and I think you solve it very well - only maybe a Little more awareness on how the glass magnify the content or the opposite.
But as I said - nice one!

Super watercolour! You are so talented.
And, I like the addition of the realism with the apple.

@farmreporter Actually the watercolour is one step up from paint-by-number; I'm doing youtube lessons. Your comments are so encouraging! I'm glad you like the apple in the photo.

I had to look twice at this in the thumbnail - the real apple is a great touch. Great image. Fav

@dorsethelen Thanks. I am very flattered that you consider this for a "fav". I wanted the apple in there so the image would have more significance as a photograph than as a watercolor. Thanks for noticing.

@777margo Thanks, Marge. Nice to be doing something that involves no gadgets.
