This is just a snatched shot from quite a distance. We went to see Russell Watson last night at Blackpool Opera House. A very varied repertoire. As well as his usual opera he sang Tony Bennett, Sinatra, songs from West End Shows & a bit of Take That thrown in ! He had a girl singer on called Mary Jess who was superb. She won the Chinese version of X Factor while she was an exchange student. The orchestra was brilliant with a young bare foot conductor who almost stole the show ! It was all well worth the night out & we so enjoyed it ! Continued good health to you Russell after your terrible illness.
