Garstang Arts Centre.

I took this photo in Garstang yesterday & didn't notice until I put it on the computer that there is a photo exhibition on ! I must definitely go back & look at that ! I have just booked myself on a 6 week course to learn about the manual button !! I love this project so much, thank you folks for all the encouragement, comments & follows. I appreciate them all.

Oh, how exciting that you've enrolled in photography class! I think it will open a whole new world with your camera, Pat. Since starting my class I've used nothing but manual settings...I'll never go back to auto modes again. Just hate that I only have one class remaining. I might have to consider signing up for the intermediate class next. :)

@peggysirk Thanks Peggy, yes I am a bit excited about the class I start on the 12th May so watch for some improvement hopefully ! I only have a point & shoot but it has all the different settings. Am going to check out photo exhibition tomorrow !

How was the exhibition? Well done you for going to do a course and no putting down P & S please, I love my Blue and he is all I have, although with only about 20 more days to go 'til I finish I must admit to having 'real camera' envy.

@farmboy9155 Went yesterday to the exhibition but it had gone , I was disappointed to say the least. Bit nervous about the course but must learn more !!! Will probably want a Cannon Rebel too when I have finished !! Don't suppose you will want the commitment of 365 when you start your new career but hope so. Just want to say thanks for all the support , you were the first one really to encourage me & lots of good luck in the future. Not many milkings to go now !!!

@happypat I would love to do a p&s class...I love my Lumix point and shoot. I used it pretty much exclusively (always in auto modes) until I started the DSLR class to learn how to use my other camera. I'm eager to see how you like your class.
So sorry you missed the photo exhibition.

Very pretty building. I hope you enjoy your class. I too am really wanting another Canon Rebel. I have a film Rebel and I don't think there is a better camera out there. Just trying to save my pennies so I can get a digital Rebel.
