While I was in colour select mode I thought I would try another photo in the same vein & I'm really pleased with this shot ! This is my dining room window sill, it faces south so the little bit of sun that was out yesterday was shining through the window. I am going to my photography class tonight again so hoping to learn a bit more than last week ! We are a mixed bunch with me probably in the middle section experience wise. A couple hadn't even got their cameras charged so was not too good a start ! There were good SLR cameras & very basic P&S so hope fully we will come together when we get to know each other a bit !
Pat this is a lovely selective colouring image, I'm amazed that you can now do it in camera, your window 'fames' the picture rather nicely...groan ..a bad pun !!
Wow - this works SO well!! Your class sounds just like mine. The first night was a bit disappointing on the learning front truth be told but it picked up for class two and I've got high hopes for next week!
@judithg@stepheesue@peggysirk Well the second class was an improvement on the first, everyone was more organised for a start. We've lost 4 people already !! The instructor is very slow & methodical, she took a good 5 mins explaining how to get out of the door if there was a fire !! We have learnt about white balance , the flash & various other things which I hope I can find again on my camera. It has made me read my instruction book better which incidentally I have had to print all 179 pages off a disc & put them in a folder !
Gorgeous window sill Pat - I think I need to do a photographic course too. I am seeing all these gorgeous effects and haven't a clue how to do them. I think you're wonderful doing the course. Good on you.
