I can't not show these lovely views of the lake from where we were sitting yesterday on the terrace! Even though the weather was very showery so the light could have been better it is still a beautiful view & I have nothing better today !!
Well, as far as I'm concerned, you couldn't ask for a much better view. The lake looks wonderful along with the mountainous background, and the sail boats in the distance. It's gorgeous Pat.
@digitalrn@murnane@judithg It was a fantastic place & I'm going to sound like I am advertising here but Miller Howe is on 40th birthday celebrations & we had two wonderful courses each, NZ wine which we had to have of course but can be a bit pricey, coffee & chocs, beautiful surroundings & house & service all for £88 !!! Not good taste to talk money but were so impressed !
@happypat Flippin 'eck Pat we do - we pay that at Pizza Express down here - my friends just went to Midsummer House which was owned by Chris Kelly at one point - no change out of £500 for the two of them! That would take the shine off for me (a company was paying in their case!)!!
@judithg I can see the value of the north- south divide here !! This hotel is owned by John Tovey & his chef worked under Raymond Blanc at his restaurant with the French name in the Cotswolds for several years so you can see the standard of the food ! We weren't rushed, it was pretty quiet & the interior was all William Morris so all in all great value !! I might put an interior shot tomorrow > Photography class again tonight !
What a beautiful scene. I like everything about it, from the boats to the lush vegetation on the rolling hills. Did it rain, it looks like it might have from the clouds?
