Here is a visiting friend Lottie. She belongs to my daughter-in-law Lesleys sister Anne & came to say goodbye yesterday ! She is a lovely dog & I couldn't resist posting this! I love the way she has her legs crossed. One for you Phil !!! I must say Whippets have a lovely nature & it is the first time I have met one. The holiday makers got off safely last night & it seems quiet without them this morning !
Very cute Pat - whippets are lovely dogs and this one looks incredibly placid. She has large eyes too and she seems to be looking straight at the camera.
Oh yes, whippets are great dogs with great personalities. I can't believe how this little girl looks so comfortbale in her lap. paws crossed and everything.

@phil_howcroft Yes you're right I should definatly have cropped it more !! Too late when I realised ..sorry Lottie ! I thought she was really a very gentle dog although she did tend to sort of sing a bit !!
Oh no I think their bits are very neat and tidy and they are not at all bothered they are proud of them and why not? I love this adorable girl- I have one human whippet Pearl and 3 other whippets heavenly dogs indeed
I coudn'y agree with you more. We have friend & they have had whippets all their lives & and so all their children & grandchildren have whippets too. I call them the whippet family & your shot is very appealing. They are such suks & very affectionate!
