Went to Lancaster for a meal last night & I must say the town was very welcoming with no scary groups of drinkers hanging around. There were lots of people eating out & generally enjoying them selves. I took this photo on the way back to the car around 9.15pm.
This is a new wedding shop full of lovely dresses, not as many strapless ones I was pleased to see.
I just coloured one of the dresses with Picnic face paints which was fun! There is a slight reflection I'm afraid but not bad enough to spoil it. I have cropped it a bit too.
What a fab idea and you've chosen a great one to colour - looks like it's trying to escape! I love the way there is just one man's suit - they know their place when it comes to a wedding!
It's lovely! My niece had a darker red wedding dress last autumn and it was absolutely gorgeous on her! She isn't a white dress person and it was definitely right for her!

@phil_howcroft Oh how exciting for your family !!! You will love every minute ..well most of it !! Tell your daughter to try on lots of dresses & make the most of it while she can !! You don't have to spend a fortune these days to get a really pretty dress !!
I'm interested to hear your comment that you would never have done a picture like this at the beginning, I'm wondering where this project will take me as I'm doing slightly new things already! Great picture!
@louisefrance I just went back & looked at my first few photos , a bowl of daffodils, the hoover etc ..how boring & how I have improved as you will too !! Thanks for your comments !

my eldest daughter got engaged last week, so I don't doubt weddings / dresses / churches / venues are going to be a hot topic in our family !
