My camera is still not right so I have resorted to another show picture I am afraid !! I was full up with B&B last so this morning I was saying the above six times & I thought it was a suitable photo for the day !
Harry thought this display of eggs very interesting as he is quite into chickens & eggs ! This table was in the middle & all around were cages with all different varieties of hens & bantams ...some amazing colours & shapes.
Strangely the eggs with the most yellow yolk didn't necessarily win nor the egg with the brownest shell, I think it was all down to the pigmentation & smoothnest of the shell !
Eggs-tremely interesting! Hope you get your camera working - mine got wet recently and after drying it out, I had to re-set the LCD monitor settings ... somehow in the wet they'd got 'scrambled'!!
@jmj I might have to take my camera in because it's definatly not right ! will take it first to the grandson to see if he can see what's wrong ! Good pun !!!!!!
Maybe they think the yellow yolks might be artificial additives? I didn't realise I was supposed to get smooth shells! I might post an extra egg shot as my young visitor was fascinated by the hens (and only managed to drop one egg!!). Hope you're chillaxing after all that cooking!

Wonderful shot! I have always thought that brown eggs taste better. Although if blindfolded I doubt I could really tell the difference. :)
