This was our night out last evening watching the comedian Peter Kay. I am not a lover of comedians as such but did quite enjoy it last night. He is a observational comic really I would say so his observations on everyday life are very funny! As you can see it was a packed house & he has been in Manchester for a few weeks now & I bought the tickets almost two years ago & as he said he could have died in the meantime !!
I can't get rid of the glare in this photo without making the whole picture too dark if any one has any suggestions I would be grateful!
Pleas excuse the lack of comments last night , I am going to try & catch up now !!!
I think you'd have to use Photoshop and either 'adjust the highlights' or use layers - Picnik allows you to make highlights lighter but not darker - it's quite annoying! However, I wouldn't bother as it just gives a really nice stagey effect and I love the glow off everybody's faces! LOL that he could have died - he must be making a bomb mustn't he?!
That's a huge crowd! That's good to see. I do volunteer work for the performing arts center here in Charlotte and at most of our events there has been a marked decrease in attendance due to the economic downturn. I like the lighting in this ~ very realistic. Glad you had a fun evening!
Pat..........I've seen the future 'garlic bread' !!!!!
You could try using the EV button to compensate for the bright light , You could also try shielding the top of the lens to try and simulate the effect of a lens hood
I always like stadium / arena shots Pat and his is good.....tut tut though... taking a recording device into a concert...lucky the stewards didn't throw you out
