Today Harry & I have been for a lovely walk with our daughter & son-in-law. We walked from Scorton through Wyresdale Park, up over the fell & back through Grizedale. At Wyresdale there is the Apple Store cafe which was opened on the advice of Ruth Watson from Country House Restoration programme & it seems to be very popular for walkers & cyclists. We had coffee & cake there & more coffee & cake at the Barn at Scorton at the end of our walk.
The colours were wonderful & we all enjoyed ourselves very much !
How gorgeous this is . . and what a beautiful composition it makes for the three of you. Walking, talking, and stopping to eat and relax. Perfect day in my book!!
Wow - gorgeous!! The decent weather is a real treat at the moment. I remember that Ruth Watson show - she isn't daft and it was a perfect place with such lovely walks around.
