We went to Blackpool today to take advantage of the 25% off at M&S. It was very windy so thought I would go on the promenade & take some wild wave pictures. I don't know how we stood up in the wind it was so strong, I had to hang on to Harry but managed to take a reasonably steady photo as near to the sea as I dared go. Next to the new Comedy Carpet there was this new construction..a sort of wand thing & it was dipping & swaying in the wind. Those workmen were busy doing something ...I didn't envy them !!!!!
I have looked on google & cannot find any information about it at all !! This is the only photo taken today so all I have to offer !!
Well it's lovely! And having just walked home from school I can say it is very windy here too....at one point was being blown up the road with the wind in my back! Made me feel like a wee girl again!!!
The 'wand' thingy gives a great impression of the winds. It sure is wild and woolly at the moment. Everything around the house is creaking and whistling.

Pat, it is rather bleak ....but then Blackpool in December is bleak...I'm impressed as to how the council and town are trying to give Blackpool a facelift....anywaya great wind pic :)
