Violet faces. ( except I know they are not proper violets) !!!
A gardening day today, I have been weeding & clearing out all the troughs & tubs ready for the summer plants.
I'm not a great gardener but do like lots of geraniums & summer flowers around our sitting out area.
It has been a glorious day today ,Harry & I had our lunch out for the first time since the middle of March when we had that hot spell.
I can't remember the proper name of these flowers but they come up every year & I love them !
@snowy I have noticed this year I have not been able to do as much, the back is my weak area & have to pace myself !!!!! Is it your knee you haven't had done giving you trouble or your new knee still not right ?
These aren't proper?!! My, my I think that they're lovely guests. Seriously, Pat .. I think that they are beautiful and love their color. Perfect comp and you grow lovely flowers in your garden. (Even if it's alot of work .... and I KNOW that it is.)
@karenann I am pretty sure the name of these is different than violets, which are smaller & more delicate looking, but thank you Karen for your lovely comment as always !!!
@cleanfreak Yes I had to do a little watering today but we have no hosepipe ban in our area so can water them easily. All the buds are popping Carole !!
Can I throw violas into the mix?? Beautiful colours and I love the droplets. Eating outside seems like a distant dream. I must get on with some one-handed gardening. I'll kill Monty if he jumps on top of my planter again!!
@judithg I think actually you are right Judith, these are quite small & have only just come into flower where as pansies have been out a while ! @lesleyallen Violas you think , so that is two , I had a feeling pansies was too easy !
