New hens.

Harry bought 4 more new hens yesterday as we can't keep up with people wanting to buy our eggs. Sometimes they come pay us & we end up owing people eggs because we haven't enough.
We ringed them last night & put them with the others in the hen house but waited until it was quite late so they wouldn't scrap.

I must apologise as I will not have time to comment over the next few days much, we have been busy in the show field all day so I am going to get changed & have a cup of tea & an early night.!

fresh eggs are the best...I have discovered that when I eat eggs from the store that my mouth swells a bit...that does not happen with fresh farm eggs
