I have completely lost any inspiration for taking photos this week.
Too much Olympic TV viewing, laziness, bad weather & general apathy, am not sure which, means it is a filler today.
Harry & I got locked out of the bedroom last night. I must have pulled the door shut too quickly & the little bolt shot across & into it's latch locking us out.
There we were at eleven o'clock trying to rattle the door open, Harry eventually prized it open with a knife.
I had to explain to the B&B that 'no we weren't having a row & I hadn't locked Harry out'' a little embarrassing!
The point of this tale is that I was so desperate for a photo yesterday that I took a picture of us trying to break into the bedroom!
I thought better of it this morning!
Anyway this is Kendal, a place you might see a little more of this week!
Spoil sport!!! Would have loved to see the alternative!! I am also completely uninspired, probably because of rubbish weather again!! At least yours is more interesting than my common butterfly!!
I can picture the scene out side the bedroom, very funny . . . though not at the time! This picture sums up a rainy day in Kendal. I don't think I've every seen it on a sunny day as when we were on holiday in the lakes, we'd only go to Kendal if it was too wet to enjoy the lakes and mountains.
Hilarious story!!!!! I'm just trying to picture it!!!!! something along the lines of Fawlty Towers!!!! Love the pic and the caption is great!!!!! Fav!!!(For creative title, making me look at your shot to check you can count and for the funniest story of the the day)
@ruthmouch Thank you Ruth I am going to upload the evidence now!!!! I was surprisingly panicky considering we did have some empty beds for the night but you just want to get at your own bed!
LOVE the trio of umbrellas ... how lovely this looks in the rain, Pat! For some reason, my eye was pulled right up to the top where the two hearts are in the top window! Must be a symbol for you and Harry ...loved your story on the lock. Made me smile and chuckle. :)
