Tea for B&B. by happypat

Tea for B&B.

I am full up tonight with B&B & could have filled two more rooms. My busiest time during September & October for some reason but the same every year.

I always give them tea & homemade biscuits if they aren't rushing off straight away. I put these out ready for a couple & their two year old daughter.

Three good things:
1. Plenty of guests so plenty money in drawer!
2. Enjoyed having my granddaughter & we usually have a look in my wardrobe to see if there's anything she fancies!!
3. My new Red magazine arrived in the post.
So inviting

@jgpittenger Exactly what I was thinking!! I think you may have just missed national 'Wear a tea cosy on your head day' which is a real shame when you have such a pretty one!

All your guests must love the cosy surroundings and the lovely homemade biscuits with their tea.

Oh how lovely! And you always manage to make people feel so 'at home'!
It's been too long! But lovely to see it in the photos!

This is my idea of a perfect B&B and why we prefer them to hotels, looks so homely!

Great photo of a beautiful living/dining room. Whose portrait is that on the wall?

@jimmyveee That is Harry's great grandfather James. He had 18 children, one or two died though!

@judithg Well I never Judith & I thought you were joking!! We love White Stuff in our house because years ago the milk advert used the words 'white stuff' for milk. I read too in my Red magazine that bobble hats are the thing to wear this winter!!!

The tea looks wonderful - but I am spying the bar over by that luscious red wall...mmmm.... a drink and a sit by the fire. Lovely! Can I book a night?!?!

Sounds as if this is your own lounge! Nice dark places with light and an open fire! I buy my home made biscuits off market stalls! They are appreciated but i do confess!

Such a warm and inviting shot. You take such good care of your guests, Pat...you must have a lot of repeat visitors. Love your sweet tea cosy, though your guests might be a bit concerned if they were to see you wearing on your head ( @judithg ). :)

Its no wonder you are busy Pat it looks as though you spoil your b&bs. My granddaughters and daughters are the same hoping to find things in my wardrobe
