Scorton Village. by happypat

Scorton Village.

This is Snow Hill in Scorton & climbs steeply up towards the Wyresdale fells & Harrisend Fell.

The building behind the war memorial is the village school, the children were on a break & you could hear laughing & chatter....I didn't like to get much nearer, a bit dodgy taking pictures any where near kids these days.

Three good things:
1. Out with friends tonight for a meal at the mushroom restaurant.
2. I have booked tickets to see our favourite Rod Stewart at the MEN next June...tickets went on sale this morning & practically sold out already!
3.Four lovely regular B&B's in for three nights , my last gasp before we go away.
beautiful colours Pat what a stunning village , enjoy your break when you go away this photo Is a fav

Wow! Many many moons ago I used to live in Cock Robin Lane, Garstang. Not far from Scorton! That brings back some memories. Nice capture.

SO pretty in the sunshine. I know what you mean about getting closer - I had to abandon a shot of some ducks because it looked like I was pointing my camera at the play area in the park! Rod Stewart - 'I don't want to talk about it' I'm so jealous!! And that's my favourite song. Have thought aimlessly about getting tickets for my sister's 50th as she was a big fan but it sounds like aimless was no good!
