Such pretty girls in their new Christmas outfits.
We visited Hamilton Zoo on Boxing Day , the day after Christmas day & I couldn't resist taking a picture of these pretty sisters.
Went to the doctors at 9.10 am this morning then had three blood samples taken, given a form to have an ex ray of both knees, off to Blackpool Victoria & all out by 11.25 am. The wonderful NHS ! And free!!
Three good things:
1. The good old British National Health Service, you can't beat it!
2. Wellington boots.
3.Vanish carpet cleaner...... essential on our too pale carpet!
@fannyb Arthritis they think Fanny, have had trouble over the last few weeks not feeling 100% & it seems to have suddenly flared up, bit worrying really as I have always been so active! Thank you for your concern!
This is a great shot - the girls were so perfectly lined up - small, medium, and large. And how nice that their tutus were color coordinated with the netting. Sweet catch!! Shame about your knees...hope they feel better soon - hope the cold and damp don't get to them!

All in matching outfits I thought they were so sweet! bit nervous taking their picture but no one seems to bother about things like that in NZ! They posed them selves clever girls!!! thank you ladies.
@sarah19@mgozzard@ruthmouch Thank you ladies I hope I improve too, I am so used to being active that it's a little worrying. A friend who suffers from the same says there is a lot of help around nowadays so i am hopeful!
@maggiemae Yes knees are so important, but have been feeling really under the weather at the same time for the last couple of months so when I get treatment I will be raring to go again! Thanks maggiemae!
Oh how lovely they are! And still climbing ropes so the skirts haven't slowed them down. Hope the knees get sorted. Maybe whatever you've got has triggered them off. They'll be looking at your inflammatory markers Pat. I don't suppose the flight will have helped either. Fingers crossed that a good effective prescription will be your next 'good thing'.
Hope nothing too serious with the knees! (Talking from experience having had a hip done a few years back!) Hope the outcome is good! And yay for Vanish!!
great shot of these pretty girls in their dresses. thank goodness for the NHS, I do hope it's nothing to serious Pat, I'm giving around like an old lady at the moment - overdid some new exercise at the weekend...they are meant to save my joints in the future...which they may well do but cripple me in the meantime! hope you're not in to much pain, keep warm, knees don't like being cold!!
Pat!!! You're back!!! I was so thrilled when I saw comments from you on my posts. I'd just been wondering when you were returning home. I'm sure you had an absolutely wonderful time with your NZ family and I'm looking forward to catching up on your recent posts. As usual, I'm sooo far behind with comments. I'm concerned about what I just read regarding a visit to the doctor and your knees. I hope that you soon find out what's going on with those knees and get some effective treatment. Take care of yourself and try not to overdo it getting unpacked and settled back in at home.
These little girls are just precious...they look like little fairies in their beautiful outfits.
I'm behind on posting and commenting so just now looking at your gorgeous photos. I like this one a lot. Great colors and amazing comp. it's a Fav for me. Sorry to hear about your knees. I am also dealing with arthritis and it's got me quite depressed actually because I'm a bit on the young side to be having these problems.
@meisen325 Oh dear you too Monica......I was very down at heart when the dread word was mentioned. All came on very suddenly too & seem to have gone from being very active to a much more steady person....worrying I won't be able to do the quick step as fast as usual!!!! You are much younger than me so poor you, a devil of a thing isn't it? I have to go for all the results next Thursday so fingers crossed. One thing I know, I do not want to go on steroids!!!!!! Thank you for the fave!!! Chin up!!!
@happypat Yes, I have resisted taking any medications and, thankfully, I have more discomfort than actual pain, but this thing is affecting my lower back and giving me sciatic nerve pain. Hard to sit for long periods of time. Very dispiriting. I know that there are people dealing with worse things but that fails to console me right now.
All in matching outfits I thought they were so sweet! bit nervous taking their picture but no one seems to bother about things like that in NZ! They posed them selves clever girls!!! thank you ladies.
And hope the knees are feeling better soon. Maybe the climatic changes don't help! Go gently. x
Hope your knees are better soon...did the long haul cause it ?
Hope nothing too serious with the knees! (Talking from experience having had a hip done a few years back!) Hope the outcome is good! And yay for Vanish!!
