Carpet day today so the front door was open most of the day. I was coming downstairs & loved the sunshine streaming through the door so thought this would do as today's photo.
All back to normal except for the beds which our son in law is coming to help us with tonight. Double bed going on second floor & twin beds coming down to the newly decorated room.
Three good things:
1. No more climbing over furniture to get into bed...our room has had all the excess bits & pieces out of decorated room.
2. My chilblains seem better today.
3. I have not had any chocolate for two days!!
Awww beautiful - and jealous! Even when it's been sunny today you wouldn't leave a door open! That wood panelled door is gorgeous Pat. My decorator has failed to turn up so still no nearer carpet cleaning in this house....
@judithg I was amazed at my man, he did a whole bedroom, patching holes, masking damp. building op the skirting board & papering one wall Then he painted the down stairs bathroom sealing round the shower as he went....£440.including paint. he's doing the sitting room next but we have to wait our turn.
@happypat I like the name & S America is good I think. Jesuit - the Catholic College would have been pleased - though I think our nuns weren't exactly fans from what I can remember & i never warmed to them as a group.....But he seems cheerful and nice so far!!!
This is a very inviting shot...we are getting closer to open doors - I had my wooden door open, but the storm door still in place - got the sunshine but not the cold air. Love your wood floor - so warm and shiny!
