Man on a ladder.

Short of time to take a new photo today so this is one from yesterdays walk.
They are rebuilding the last house in the lane & this is the roof of the garage. Tui has all her meals here & spends much time sitting waiting for the packed lunches to appear.
Funnily enough a small caravan appeared last night in the garden & it can only be big enough for a place to eat food & make a drink. The workmen have survived all winter with no special place so we are wondering if it's there to shut Tui out !!!! Perhaps they are fed up with her!!!!!
We are not too keen as the caravan is in full view of us & stands out like a sore thumb.......blame Tui again!!


Three good things:
1. The smell of rain....it is raining for the first time for weeks & the ground is so dry...hope I don't live to regret that statement!
2. A good night out with a friend planned tonight, having wine & nibbles & a last look round my favourite dress shop in Clitheroe , Angela is selling up!
3. Still keeping to the diet!!

I wondered if Tui was a cat! @fueast . Or maybe a bird - we have tuis here! Our neighbours have put their caravan right in front of our view too! It's a bother! You have so many places to go out to at night!

@fueast @maggiemae Yes Tui is our dog & she is named after your Tui bird maggiemae & not the beer!! Luckily the caravan is quite a way off & only temporary.

Love him - well he's a Lab and what's a Lab supposed to do when there are sandwiches to be had? Good going with the diet. I watched a programme about super obese people last night and ended up eating three biscuits during it - it really shouldn't have made me hungry!

Tui IS looking quite well fed!!! And very happy! Pretty lane - curious about the copper colored hedge that curves so nicely - what is it? It makes a pretty line in the photo.

@happypat You're very right Pat. Rachel would nod sagely at the need to avoid all chocolate. I'm a bit disappointed after the weekend where I didn't really snack to find that I weigh more - I feel thinner. Must have been the beer perhaps :0(
