House number 7

House number 7 is the party house!
We always try to do our bit when it comes to celebration down our lane & we have had quite a few street parties in our time.
Behind house number 7 they have a very large outdoor building which has a resident bar, heating, toilets & tables & chairs. We often decamp here when the weather doesn't oblige as in last years Golden Jubilee party.
Every summer they have a party for charity & two days after Christmas another one. The hedge on the left has see a few party goers fall in there!! We can all walk home so no watching what you drink except us older one with more sense of course!!

Two people live in house number 7.

I must say a massive thank you to all you lovely people for such favourable comments & faves on my spur of the moment post of the Anemone last night on my extras....I was really chuffed as there is no skill in a house picture although I do want to finish the series! You gave me back my enthusiasm again!!

Three good things:
1. Lovely friends who boost your confidence!
2. A night away tonight in Cheshire visiting a Rachel & Ed..... Rach was one of my b&bers who regularly stayed for a couple of nights a week a few years ago & got to know all our family, they have even been out to NZ visiting...we are looking forward to our evening catching up!
3. A niece is getting better after a very serious operation.
looks another lovely day up there Pat...love your commentry...nothing like a small village for frivolities and falling in hedges!

Another fine house -- can imagine the revellers bottom side up in the hedge but obviously not the more mature party goers !!! hehehe :-)

The party side of the house is well hidden, away from the public scene. A really nice looking place.

Odd looking house, not so well balanced as the other ones. Bigger windows. The people inside sound wonderful! I know about falling into neighbouring ditches/ hedges after a party - sister in law did - she lived next door - this was years ago when we were young and free!

I can imagine the parties there! Looks very inviting.

Ooo I love a good neighborhood party!!! You have reminded me it is time for ours to have another - it's been years and lots of new neighbors so they won't remember the last one! Come to think of it, I don't remember much of the last one! Might have to plant more hedges.

Nice big house. How fab to have all those parties to go to, and no driving.

Now this sounds like a great house to have nearby. How lovely to have a get together with neighbours and a spot to decamp to when the weather takes a turn! I love that it is equipped with bar & amenities for this purpose. Fabulous!

Every neighborhood needs a party house and this one is delightful! This looks a bit like a city townhouse. I love the decorative touches of the gas lamp, the iron gate, and the marvelous wooden front door.
