I feel old today...I have a B&B girl in that used to come with her father to visit her Granny. Father & daughter used to share a room but she arrived today with boyfriend in tow & pierced lips & nose!!
Both in the double room on the top landing, breakfast at 10am.
A lovely girl but how quickly they grow up!!!
Three good things:
1. A lovely lunch out with friends.
2. Laughter, a great tonic!
3.Summer has arrived if only temporarily.
@gerry Oh I thought you were giving me my Sunday name Gerry so I was only reciprocating!!!!! I quite like my full name now & again so I am very happy with that!
Oh blimey - you didn't watch them go into the room with pursed lips, arms folded and tapping foot then?! I remember this old boy! You've caught the cross roads brilliantly - I had the wrong lens on!
@judithg Well no but I did think they looked rather sweet & a nice young couple ....he is called Paddy!!! Over from USA so must be official relationship. Yes another London one but so lovely to have them on standby when I have such boring ones...I should definitely live in a town!!
this is great - love the title too! - it does look rather like there could have been a serious collision! Nice to have these to fall back on, I agree, think all three of us did the last couple of days!
well spotted Pat, i would think he's breaking some kind of highway code rule there ..... I know I'm a dog lover .....but it is a bit stupid of the man ...oh err i'm on my high horse
Love the caption - and the watchful dog! I know how you feel. I feel old when pupils I taught in the reception class all those years ago are now moving in with girlfriends and looking like tying the knot!
I do love what @judithg says - I can just see the stance! B&Bs get all sorts and you just have to be tolerant! We had a booking from a guy who turned up with his boyfriend! John was assuming that stance then! I would never dare to run my large dog down the street on a bike! He might see a cat!
Great street scene. That dog saw something he wanted to check out in the other direction. I am feeling old also. My beautiful granddaughter graduates high school on June 1 and I do not know where all the time went.
Great catch. There are a few *accidents waiting to happen* here, with the young man walking while talking on a cell, the guy biking with a dog on a leash, and the dog about to bolt to who knows where. As for the *feeling old* comment, consider the alternative ;-)
I always think it seems so wrong somehow unless it's in the countryside along a trail or something. I.e somewhere where the dog can be free to run alongside and not on a leash,
