Your'e supposed to look both ways!!!

Dog walking the lazy way!!

I feel old today...I have a B&B girl in that used to come with her father to visit her Granny. Father & daughter used to share a room but she arrived today with boyfriend in tow & pierced lips & nose!!
Both in the double room on the top landing, breakfast at 10am.
A lovely girl but how quickly they grow up!!!

Three good things:
1. A lovely lunch out with friends.
2. Laughter, a great tonic!
3.Summer has arrived if only temporarily.
lovely street scene photo Patricia

sorry Pat I have not long commented on Patricia's photo who owns Bertie the Whippett

@gerry Oh I thought you were giving me my Sunday name Gerry so I was only reciprocating!!!!! I quite like my full name now & again so I am very happy with that!

Yes dear, time flies... that was a reality check... lol.
May 25th, 2013
Oh blimey - you didn't watch them go into the room with pursed lips, arms folded and tapping foot then?! I remember this old boy! You've caught the cross roads brilliantly - I had the wrong lens on!
May 25th, 2013
@anazad511 Oh yes Ana but she still looked very young!!!
May 25th, 2013
@judithg Well no but I did think they looked rather sweet & a nice young couple ....he is called Paddy!!! Over from USA so must be official relationship. Yes another London one but so lovely to have them on standby when I have such boring ones...I should definitely live in a town!!
May 25th, 2013
@happypat Oh well that's alright then - thought she might have gone off the rails but sounds not!! She must have enjoyed her childhood visits.
May 25th, 2013
Hehe, yes time flies. Nice shot. It's a big dog so probably a good way to keep up!
May 25th, 2013
@jesperani They were going quite fast Jennifer & seemed to come out of nowhere.
May 25th, 2013
Wonderful street capture, Pat!
May 25th, 2013
LOL fun shot if not a slightly dodgy manoeuvre.
May 25th, 2013
Great street capture --the poor dog is the only one trying to check on the traffic !!
May 25th, 2013
this is great - love the title too! - it does look rather like there could have been a serious collision! Nice to have these to fall back on, I agree, think all three of us did the last couple of days!
May 25th, 2013
Great shot and well captioned! I love that the girl came back to the B&B from her youth with her boyfriend! You should feel honoured!
May 25th, 2013
well spotted Pat, i would think he's breaking some kind of highway code rule there ..... I know I'm a dog lover .....but it is a bit stupid of the man ...oh err i'm on my high horse
May 25th, 2013
MY GOd your composition keeps getting better and better and then better some more. and this one pops! wonderful
May 25th, 2013
@nyusha @netkonnexion @beryl Thank you all & the dog was doing it's Green Cross Code!!!!!!
May 25th, 2013
@sparkle Thanks Juliette I seem to remember that dog & man just came up sort of sideways at us!
May 25th, 2013
@kwiksilver Yes it was nice to see her again but she had changed...not a little girl any longer!
May 25th, 2013
@phil_howcroft Ha Phil you would walk your dog properly, no cheating for you!!!
May 25th, 2013
@jgpittenger So grateful for your lovely feed back Jane & from a master like you...thank you!
May 25th, 2013
Love the caption - and the watchful dog! I know how you feel. I feel old when pupils I taught in the reception class all those years ago are now moving in with girlfriends and looking like tying the knot!
May 25th, 2013
I do love what @judithg says - I can just see the stance! B&Bs get all sorts and you just have to be tolerant! We had a booking from a guy who turned up with his boyfriend! John was assuming that stance then! I would never dare to run my large dog down the street on a bike! He might see a cat!
May 25th, 2013
Great street scene. That dog saw something he wanted to check out in the other direction. I am feeling old also. My beautiful granddaughter graduates high school on June 1 and I do not know where all the time went.
May 25th, 2013
@busylady Well they do say when the policemen begin to look young.......
May 25th, 2013
@maggiemae I have had that problem here too as recently as two weeks ago but live & let live I say, as long as people are happy!
May 25th, 2013
@maggiemae Forgot....would be a nightmare if the dog saw a cat , can you just imagine!!!!
May 25th, 2013
@grannysue Oh grandchildren are the worst, that is a real ageing time!!!
May 25th, 2013
Cool street scene captured, and it is sad when kids grow up
May 26th, 2013
Love your street photography shots the last couple of days
May 26th, 2013
Great candid shot
May 26th, 2013
Great shot, and also a gorgeous dog
May 26th, 2013
This is terrific. You have become quite the street photographer
May 26th, 2013
An awesome street shot.
May 26th, 2013
eva
Great street shot!
May 26th, 2013
interesting shot, lots to see..
May 26th, 2013
Great catch. There are a few *accidents waiting to happen* here, with the young man walking while talking on a cell, the guy biking with a dog on a leash, and the dog about to bolt to who knows where. As for the *feeling old* comment, consider the alternative ;-)
May 26th, 2013
Nice street capture. I think that shot could be used in a road safety lesson.
May 26th, 2013
Everyone looks in such a hurry!!!
May 27th, 2013
I always think it seems so wrong somehow unless it's in the countryside along a trail or something. I.e somewhere where the dog can be free to run alongside and not on a leash,
May 27th, 2013
Great street scene, Pat. By the looks of the winter coats, Spring had not arrived on that day!
