I can't take the credit for this photo I'm afraid. It was taken by Jack at the lovely country wedding they went to last Saturday.
I just loved the glimpse through into the adjoining marquee they had at The Inn at Whitewell.
Jack was particularly pleased as the sister of the bridegroom is getting married in August & her husband to be has asked Jack to take photos of him & his grooms men getting ready before the wedding.
He has asked to borrow my camera & of course I am very willing for him to do so!
Out tonight I'm afraid so will catch up tomorrow...I have managed to do a little commenting this morning so not too far behind!
A big thank you for all your continued support & comments, all gratefully received!!
Three good things:
1. I have remembered to read the electric meter for the first day of July!
2. So enjoying my book, half way through The Light Between Two Oceans by M L Stedman but I can tell it will all end in tears!!!
3. Loved the photos in the Daily Mail of those two old rockers Mick Jagger & Keith Richards ...absolutely wrinkled & ancient but so pleasing the crowd at Glastonbury....I even wanted to be there myself!!
Nice to know Jack has similar interests and skills! These look like peonies here on the staircase - so beautiful! John reads the metre on the first of the month too. I thought the same about Glastonbury when I saw the clip- a great selection of songs!
It looks like you have another ace photographer in the family, Pat! Jack has done a fabulous job with this shot. I love to see all the little details in a wedding...these floral arrangements are simply gorgeous. You just can't beat peonies for elegance and charm.
Love your three things. I read The Light Between Oceans a few months ago and was torn all the way through the book.
For all the years of heavy abuse from one form or another, Mick and Keith have held together surprising well. I will always be a Stones fan. :)
Awesome leading line in this shot - with the flowers on the staircase as well as the glimpse down the hall to the party. Let your friend know he did a great job!
JB has been engaged in a clandestine Rolling Stones indoctrination campaign since L was born. I keep coming home and finding him dancing her around to them.
Oh I love peonies - I didn't realise that grooms were into photos see days - Jack will have a whale of a time. Mick and Keith are pickled - I'm sure when they are buried they won't decay!
