Watering the flowers. by happypat

Watering the flowers.

Hand watering this massive display of flowers over my favourite shop although they apparently have a watering system for the upstairs windows , not shown here, windows wide open & a watering can!

Garstang on a sunny afternoon....the hat hire shop is next door but one.

Three good things :
1. Had my hair cut.
2. Harry beat Pete at bowls for the first time!
3. The decorator has stripped the whole room ready for the next step.
very nice street scene

Takes more than a watering to get this wonderful display of flowers! I bet she gets lots of praise for them! Lovely English street scene. I haven't had my hair cut for ages and its growing longer - think I'll let it grow - I like the feel of hair on my neck in the wind or walking!

Lovely. Feeling a bit jealous of your decorator - preparing the bathroom myself - well I will when it cools down a bit. Just finally got the electrician's number as the fan has broken and I realised how wet the papers of sample colour had got - thought I'd better get the ventilation fixed before I paint the walls and de-mould the grout. Sounds like he might come quite soon so then I'll have to stop prevaricating!

@judithg Sounds like a good order of work to me, all in the prearation according to Martin, my man. He has used 5 bags of filler on the walls & ceiling so far! The expensive one roll of wallpaper I ordered has not arrived yet so good job he is taking his time!!

@happypat 5 bags? Hoping my one tube will do - so far today the expensive 'grout cleaner' I bought has done nothing but waste a lot of time (reverting to soda crystals/bleach/elbow grease) and the electrician didn't turn up!

@judithg How annoying Judith, grout is so bad to get clean, we are up to lining paper on the walls but i won't see the finished room until I get back from Ireland on Thursday night. We are using Elephants Breath on the walls, Crivelli paper in the greyish brown colour & Wimbourne white on paintwork so hope I like it as no going back then!

@happypat Ooh lovely - very sophisticated. I wasn't sure about the wallpaper and then I realised I wasn't looking at F&B!! Looks really pretty - at the moment I'd love to go away and come back to it done. Love the WImbourne White on a front door - might think about that next time.
