Just strolling along eating his ice cream & gazing into shop windows.
Fish & chips on the promenade at Blackpool tonight. It's the annual Riding the Lights night when the traffic is banned from the prom & we take to our bikes. They put the illuminations on for a practice before the switch on this Friday.
Harry & I aren't riding our bikes , we only did it once & it's really difficult not to hit the tyres of others there are so many people. I hope to get a few photos though.
Please excuse commenting tonight...I will try & catch up later or tomorrow.
Three good things:
1. No tea to make tonight.
2. The combine harvester is here.
3. I'm not frightened of wasps because we have loads!!
Lovely sunny street there too! What a summer it's been and cameras have been extra busy. Hope you enjoy the lights! You always share the positives of Blackpool which is lovely as it was the only place we ever took the children that they really didn't like much................but we did come and stay with you after so that was a compensation!!
This guy looks so casual and enjoying his outing! Not in a hurry. I wouldn't like riding when so many bikes as much as I love biking! Sounds like the only good thing about your wasp fact is that you aren't scared of them! Not good to have many!
he's a bit overdressed for august PAt, shirt, pullover and a big red coat...I know Lancashire gets it cold ...but even by Lancs standards it cannot be that cold ....I can see the sun shining too...oh and a healthy sausage roll !!
@phil_howcroft It is a sausage roll your'e right Phil...shows I was in a hurry posting it! It was a warmish day in Garstang today, he has cast his coat off but still dressed rather warmly for August I agree! Thanks for your comments welcome as always!
Lovely street shot. He looks as if he's in a world of his own. You've captured the moment perfectly. I also like the balance of colours - both the reds and the blues. Great composition, Pat.
Love the POV with him gazing into the windows and the pop of red he is carrying.
