This Azalea bush was in the garden when we moved in. I moved the chair there last weekend when it was so hot!
I’m not a fan normally of yellow & would have picked either the colour white or pink.
However this yellow does show up nicely under the tree. I doubt I would have picked that place to plant it either but I do think it looks lovely tucked up under the tree like that!
Been out for fish & chips again tonight….seems to be a date now on a Thursday.
I showed willing this morning & went to ‘Move it or lose it’ but half an hour too early so I went for a coffee at my cinema friend Dots house!
Her new baby granddaughter is just gorgeous & a wonderful blessing for Charlie’s family.
Our daughter & Son in laws 32nd wedding Anniversary today.
Such a wonderful spot in the garden to sit in the shade of the tree Pat , I was never fond of yellow azaleas but of late I am converting !! and this is an ideal colour amongst all the green and pops in the shade of your tree ! -- So peaceful, Pat
I'm not a yellow fan either, but have to admit that the yellow at this time of year fair brightens everything! Love this picture and I can just imagine you sitting in that chair. You need to get Harry to set you up with a garden bench there! He'd complain about having to mow around it though, or having to move it for mowing, I'll bet! Sounds like a nice day you had, despite being too early for your class!
Fav. What a fabulous image. Have just returned home after an hour's brisk walk and sweating all over. So that would be ideal for a stop and take some breath. We
@jamibann Had to laugh at your true words…..Harry would hate having to move a chair mid mow! I actually only put it there as we had Connie & she needed to sit in the shade.
Hmmm I'm not much of a yellow fan either, but this looks very restful.
My friend Doreen has a similar one in her garden which was looking very grand today in the sunshine. It was a gift for their golden wedding anniversary fifteen years ago. She's on her own now but does pretty well and has great friends.
